So if the SVT210AV is rated at 200 watts @8ohms what if you ran 2 of them? Reason I ask is I am looking at the mini stack but may want more power later.Could I use say a 500 watt head with 2 of these cabs?

Thanks I just wasn't sure how that works and don't want to fry more stuff (see my last post) Haha!
The PF-500 is a good match for those wanting that Ampeg sound. I really like the tone of the cabs. They succeeded in getting the SVT sound in a portable box. You would also get a decent amount of volume with the PF-350, using the two cabs.
As stated earlier, going easy on the bass if pumping 500w into them, but the pure tone comes with the bass knob around 1:00 - 2:00, IMO. Maybe a slight boost in midrange and the GAIN around 2:00. Then dial in the MASTER until desired volume. The limiter is good on my PF-350, doesn't overly squash while limiting spikes in my playing (hitting the strings hard). I would use it if things get loud and you're concerned.

The PF-210 ain't the same cab. Different voice. If money's an object, buy one cab with a VR, PF-350 or PF-500 head, then buy another cab later. All 3 heads can drive a pair of SVT210AV cabs.
Depends on the sound you prefer. The Micro VR stack is more ampeg growl and ballz. The portaflex is more old school smooth-ish B-15. The PF can still get a good rock sound if you crank the gain, and the Micro VR can be smooth, it's just that they have different default voicings.
Oh yeah, two 210AVs make for a great sounding, portable rig. I use a PF500 when not using the V-4B reissue.
I run (2) SVT210AV's with Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 with no problems, that's 900w @ 4 ohms. I also use a PF-500 as a backup and it performs equally as well. As others have stated, easy on the bass control and you'll be fine.
go for the 212AV. It can handle 600 watts at 4 ohms which you're looking at if you use two 8 ohm cabs. Not heavy and sounds great.

.. although considered 'medium duty' cabs, I have found that the 210AV's respond very well to being pushed a bit ... not nescessarily with increased bass eq (as mentioned), but with power ... I have used a stack with an old 400RB, and liked it better with the 800RB ... and now I have a couple MB200 heads, and have used one head with the stack, but much prefer two heads pushing them (even more than the MB500) ... keep the low EQ in check, and it is really surprising what these little cabs can do ... even with the stock drivers ..
I'm very careful with it and never crank it, but I'm now in a band that plays more classic rock (instead of the blues/country I've been in for the last three years) and it has be concerned. I would love a pair of Barefaced Two10's but cannot afford, I love the in-line 2x10 form factor so the SC-10's are, like Obi Wan Kenobi, my only hope.
I run an Aguilar TH 500 with 2-210AVs no problem. Just use your ears for signs of stressing the cabs but you should be okay with a 500 watt amp.
I use two 210AV cabs with my Aguilar Tonehammer 500. Sounds great and never had any issues with power. It gets quite loud enough with two cabs, without even starting to push things.
EDIT: I do use a HPF on my pedal board, so I'm actually taking out a lot of low-lows that suck up a lot of power and stress the speakers. Safer, and sounds better too!
