SVT5 Pro Problems

So I've have my SVT5 Pro for a couple years. It's a friggin monster. Over the past 8 months or so, I've been playing it through a Mesa PH810 cab. At Saturday's gig, during sound check, the output volume went really low and crackly and distorted. I worked the master volume pot backa nd forth a few times and it came back. Over the course of the night, it did this 4 or 5 more times. I don't really think the MV pot had anything to do with it. I planned to drop it off in the shop today, but I thought I'd see if anyone had any suggestions. Any chance the preamp tube is dieing?

Dirty fx loop jacks? Try a short patch cable in the loop.

I'd definitely check the preamp tube. Could also be a sign of some cracked solder joints.

RickenBoogie wins closest to the pin! It was actually the preamp out or power amp in jack. Through a jumper in there and it worked like a champ. Took the jumper out, it works fine. I'll clean them with some conact cleaner and carry a jumper in road bag just in case.Thanks for the suggestions. So glad that's all it was.
