SWITCH WIRING

Sorry to try your patience again but I am still not 100% clear about wiring in the switch....I know there are several ways of doing the wiring and for reasons of space and existing wiring could someone please draw me some different options to wire this switch
2-way 3 lug switch, with silicon diode to switch in and out of circuit.

The middle lug on the switch gores to hot. One of the outside lugs goes to the diode. The other side of the diode goes to ground.
