SWR cabinets

I used to have a 1x15 when it was called the Workingman's series. I found that whole line to be warmer sounding than their Goliath series. Very nice overall, light, and seemed to be built with nice materials.

yep. i've been playing through a 410T for 10 years. Hasn't failed me yet.
it's an older one, though -- i think SWR had just come out with the Workingman line of products when I bought it. the newer ones don't sound as good to me. could be the Neo magnets -- my old cab weighs 97 pounds!

i don't know if they upgraded the components from the workingamn to the workingpro.
i had a wm210 and wm15 with 4004 head for my rehearsal rig, and never could get it to sound right, and the cabs were useless as stand alones.
the wm410 was a decent cab, as was the 810tower. i loved my workingman 15!!! it was one of the best combos i've ever played. i stacked it on a 15 extention and it sounded great.
but i hated the pre EQ DI only on the workingman heads. the new working pro heads give the option of post-eq DI.
i do like the new grills on the workingpro series look more like the goliath. sharp!
as far s quality goes, my henry 8x8 is a much better sounding anf built cab than the working series.

I got a 410 workingpro. Sounds really good, and will probably never fail me. Used it alone for a while and really liked it, then with a big ben (18 inch) and loved it. Now, I've also got a Megoliath. I can now hear that the workingpro is not as sweet as the goliath series, but nobody in the band noticed, nobody in the audience, just me, and I'm a bit of a tone freak.
