SWR Cabs? How do they rank?

I use and love SWR cab's. They give me the hi-fi sound I like. That being said I've also been able to get decent warm tones out of the same cab's when using different heads for different musical applications. I am speaking only of the Pro Series cab's...I've had a few of the Working Man series cab's..they're ok at lower volumes but the power handling is terrible on that series and they break up easily.
These new cab's look like the WM series with new clothes..I'll stay away from them.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your SWR gear. I was thinking about buying SWR until i discivered EBS gear at a trade show. I would suggest you try EBS Cabinets and Amps as they are really superb, durable and well built. Check them out on the EBS website.

Razor is right
The workingman's cabs are questionable. I had a 210 and hated it. The pro cabs are good cabs. The WMs can't handle much power. That being said I think the workingman's 12 is one of the best small amps money can buy

The SWR Megoliath is a damn BEAST! I love, love, love my cabinet. My SM-500 head overheats easily, but thats the only gripe I have with it. If you want a 8x10 for rock n' roll go buy a Megoliath. You will thank yourself.
