First off, cranking the volume will make it feedback like an ugly distortion pedal, along with pulling the transparency switch located on the treble knob. The thing whines, just got it today. How do I fix it? Thanks much.

Oh....reccommended settings on the amp? Any sweet spots I should try?

The feedback problem... don't sit/stand so close to the speakers. Most cranked amps will create some kind of feedback if you do that. It's not a very powerful amp so if you have to crank it like that, you may need more power.

EQ advice... set everything flat. don't use too much of the "enhance" knob. And if the transparency knob ruins everything, leave it switched off.
