Gorgeous.
I wish it was a P/J, just because I don't have one of those.
Also, I'm not sure I wouldn't like it more with the neck bound in white with pearloid blocks.
Wow. the bass is gorgeous! Maybe a pearloid guard for bling, or tortoise for class?
Lovely stock, too!
I wonder if people will be collecting these things 20 years from now like they do with the old Ibanez guitars? Ha! You never know, although people do seem to be collecting them right now!

everytime i see one of these i want one ha
hows it feel and play?
Savit260 plays professionally (I think) and uses SX P's. I know he had them professionally setup but I'm waiting word from him on whether that means that the frets were professionally leveled or not. Most of the folks who have bought SX basses are impressed with the way they play and sound - especially for the price.
I've been in a battle with my better judgement for about two weeks over whether to sell my current really nice USA made fiver and my crappy Behringer amp to get an SX Jazz and a much nicer Carvin amp. I just wish there was a way I could play an SX before I bought it. I don't have the cash to buy one to try it out.
Keep the Peavey!, Save for a new amp. (Sorry, I just had to throw that in there!)

I'm looking to get an SX P bass and would like to know if, aside from the neck and ash body, there are any differences (pickups, tuners, bridge) between this model and the standard $109 SX SPB? I like the vintage white p bass with the rosewood neck.
