sx bass club

not sure how thes clubs work but hey there wasn't one for sx. though i only found these basses around a year ago i love them. still modding out my ursa 1 and looking at getting another and maybe an ursa 2. so share pics and mods you've done to your sx.:bassist:

I been hear for a bit and did not know that. Man you TB lifers just jump as fast as you can on this stuff!

Wife: Honey, dinner is ready

Tb sheriff: cant yet, I think someone is about to post a new thread on something thats been done and I need to be the first to post SEARCH....

TB would be dead and gone if there were not posts about the same old stuff

Search Nazi? There's a 13-page thread about these basses. You don't have to search, just scroll and you'll run into it.

As stated earlier, the OP is a new guy and didn't know SX is actually 'essex' here on TB..I just searched SX Club, and guess what didn't come up?

But I'm sure he's grateful you were SO helpful.

Currently I have an Ursa 2 Jazz 5 String. Using it stock for situations requiring alternate tunings. Strung with Indie 5 string Medium Flat Wounds. Nice budget bass string that I bought based on another poster's recommendation. I don't play 5 string much (like I did in the 90s).

Also have an Ursa 1 with a Seymour Duncan Vintage pickup, CTS solid shaft pots and an Orange Drop capacitor. Strung with D'Addario ECB-81 Chrome flat wounds. Was my primary bass until I got the Squier Classic Vibe 60s Precision, now it's my backup bass.

pbass4ever...as mentioned already, this is a flaw in the search engine, not a failure by you..and it's common enough for people to start an sx thread because they couldn't find the mega thread. So don't feel bad. We all know it happens, so I don't get the rudeness to a new guy, or gal.

It just seems a shame that some poor basstard gets harpooned anytime he poses a question that someone else noticed in a thread 7 months ago or asks about some bit of info that others consider common knowledge because they haven't been the new guy for so long..

LOL...WOW..SX, Essex, Nazis, and Nazi hunters all on page one...quick somebody complain about the Ursa headstock before we hit page 2!!

Ursa headstock

Yeah, I guess we have to work on that a little...as a community...:eyebrow:
