I passed up getting a craigslist T40 for $200 3 years ago - I've been kicking myself ever since.

Pics look like it's in fantastic shape. Maybe two buckle dents in the back, no rash. Neck looks pristine. And it looks like a smoker used to stick a smoke on the headstock under the G. I don't think it's a burn. It's just a dot, not a run. Looks more like a nicotine mark. Think I might be able to get it out with some elbow grease and steel wool. And as usual, my wife is supercool with the purchase. I'm a lucky dude!

Well, I've had it for a week. Not as heavy as I anticipated. Weighs about 10 lbs on the bathroom scale. Was a little dingy, but not really bad. All original. Broke it down, cleaned the wood and polished the metal. Saddles have a touch of pitting. The rest of the metal is clean. Has two dings in the back of the body. One is at the edge, and one is two inches below the neck plate - belt buckle. The one under the plate doesn't show up well in pics. Plays very nicely. Still needs just a little tweaking. Can't believe I picked this gem up for under $240.

10 pounds is light for one of those. Relatively light and quite clean, great score!

I just won a '79 on the 'bay as well. $282 with shipping was too good to pass up with OHSC. Natural w/ black pg and maple neck. Not truly all original as the prev owner put a hipshot detuner on it. Which I'm really excited about.
