I see http://www.basstabarchive.com/ still has not put any of it's tabs back up.
Has there ever been an official ruling on tabs and their distrubution as far as copyright violations go? I've always thought it was a BS call myself and really miss that website.

My name is Etienne, living in Belgium, speaking french, playing bass for nearly 2 monthes
As I learnt music a lot in the past (piano), it is ok for me to write tabs while listening to the songs.
As it is not easy to find out good quality tabs with rythm info in them, I decided to write myself the songs I am training with.
As uploading it does not cost me much time, I decided to post them on a little humble blog.
I prefer quality than quantity, so I add one to three tabs per week, and I accept requests (which make me discover plenty of music I did not know)

You probably already know about this one, but Invalid Link Removed is where I go for all of my tabs.
It could mean a lot of different things, that's one of the down sides to tabulator. A lot of different people write their tabs differently. Try contacting the person who transcribed the song and ask him/her. A lot of tabs will include the transcriber's email address in them.

I came across this site. COUNTRY TABS It also has some rock bands as well. It shows guitar chords and as a beginning bass player I found it is great to lean how to play roots and 5ths over these chords
