Cool. Yeah the little image icon is for external image URL's only. Same way on the desktop version.

Maybe I haven't spent enough time on the non-app version of the site, but is there a way to quickly view a list of participated threads and threads I've created? Other than the infinite scrolling, that's one thing the app does really well. Also conversations are much easier to manage, in my opinion.

You're going to want to set your prefs to automatically "watch" threads that you create or post in (with our without email notification, up to you). That way, clicking the "watched threads" link in the web version, will be the same as clicking "participated" in the app. There's also the "your content" link in your user menu, but that brings up a list of your posts, not threads.
Obviously this is a revenue stream to the TapaTalk pp. Is there no common ground that can be met?

Sad to see the app go. But I'm much happier knowing that talkbass cares about security so much.
Oh boy, that is not a good birthday present. I'm a 90+% app user. Just way more comfortable, less ads, less loading time, just good and simple. Web browser is not an option for me with my old tablet. So I won't be around that much anymore. Which is a good thing considering g.a.s. and real life. Thanks for the app years!
If you do decide to crowd source an app I would be more than willing to contribute.
Sad, but understand... I have Tapatalk Pro and love having the few forums I frequent all in the same interface. Thanks again for all you do here Paul!
Does anyone else need to login every time you open TB in the browser? And yes I checked the stay logged on box.
That's a big problem with mobile web sites and web apps. They often can't save state or logins.
What os and browser are you using? There are usually settings to tweak, for example Safari on iPhone, you need to make sure that in your system settings -> Safari that "Block Cookies" is set to allow from current website...
