Talkbass Having Technical Difficulties Today?

Whew. The downtime today was the result of our server totally crashing and not responsive to remote reboot. Took a while to get a tech to manually reboot, and subsequent investigation to find a cause. The TB server is a bit dated, but we'll be on new hardware next month!

It looks like the database needed time to 'warm up' enough to load the classifieds - should be ok now?

Search should also be back up.

I have Cubase running off the grid, so to speak, on its original Sony Vaio PC with Windows XP that I bought at Circuit City(remember them?) and it still runs better than any of my machines that have to spend time on line.
I use to sweat those times when the hospital security servers I use to manage were overdue for upgrades.

It was down for me for the whole first part of the day and currently Classifieds will not come up.

I thought I must have been banned for being insensitive…again….LOL!!!

My experience was logging in. the site worked fine. Tried to log in and got the sorry try again later message.
