I fired up the Hammond today and tried to come up with something, but your bass track seemed a little, well, choppy. I'll cut out the part that I think I can work best with, and go from there.

yea it was just a runthrough, i was actually surprised the guy who did the drums didnt say that

I need another week or two, the Hammond is having motor problems, so I need to work on it. I might clean the reverb switches while I'm at it, and before I forget again.

Well I got it running smoothly again, but now a tube's gone bad. I'll have to take it apart again tomorrow. I'l get it recorded, if it ever works right.

subscribing to see how this turns out. Cool idea. I can bust out some trippy harmonica through all kinds of stoney effects pedals as well as a theramin.

I did one on an old USENET recording group where you could download everyone's contributions as individual tracks, add your own, and mix the whole thing any way you felt like. Then other people could download your contribution and use it any way they wanted to. I cut and pasted someone's guitar solo as the intro instead, for instance. It was really fun; in the end we had 20+ people working on it, each with their own final mix.

I have a guitar synth and a couple of different samplers. Steel-cutting lathe, anyone?
