After reading a post discussing if more people were in cover bands or original bands, I thought it would be a great idea to create a Spotify public playlist consisting of members original projects.

All genres welcome. Please post the name of the project, a link for preferred social media and a link to your Spotify presence. I will add your music to the playlist. The playlist can be found here:

I play bass for Shed. I joined at the end of the writing/recording process for the Summer Flannel album and we are now halfway through writing for the next album. I really enjoy playing in this band; great group of guys, seasoned musicians, and a blast to write and perform music with.

Oy, listening to the playlist and enjoying everybody’s music, then all of a sudden one of mine comes up… one in particular, that was released under the perfect storm of a new bass, an engineer with a few new plugins he wants to try out, and most critically a general rush of impatience leading up to release (that I was also definitely caught up in :banghead:).

While there are many older tracks – a majority even, that I’d love to have another crack at from a mixing perspective, I think I need to start petitioning for a redo of that one immediately.

Mr. Obvious style PSA: DON’T RUSH YOUR RELEASES! :rage:

Glad you're enjoying the playlist so far.

Yeah, I have a few of those songs Kro, but then I think about Caress of Steel by Rush. I personally like the album, but when they hear it, they say "Man we were pretty high" at that time. C'est la vie
