Trying to make life easier, helps when the truck is running right. That's warm! It's 34 now.
Where ya been?
Not exactly. Gotta save for my stuff. I want to be able to keep it light and powerful. Used is my friend.Oh budget must be considered. Skys the limit?
RightTrying to make life easier, helps when the truck is running right.
Right?
Yes with a good cabNot exactly. Gotta save for my stuff. I want to be able to keep it light and powerful. Used is my friend.
Is it possible to fill a medium-large restaurant/lodge with a 2x10?
Yes. TBI 5.7L 350 700-R4 2WD.Right
TBI injection?
No, pinhole leak in radiator, and water pump bearings worn out. Temp down here is fine for running 180 degree thermostat over 195. Hoses and belts older and cracked.Sorry, I'm glad I do. Worked on Caterpillar Eq for years, I have most of the nasty tools
Overheating?
Not really. Used market sucks here. No chain music stores either.Yes with a good cab
Any used GK stuff up there?
Be careful, the prop setting is based on a 195* base temp setting. No, pinhole leak in radiator, and water pump bearings worn out. Temp down here is fine for running 180 degree thermostat over 195. Hoses and belts older and cracked.
No need to run 195 when it doesn't get much cooler than 50 degrees?
Fender 500w into a GB Uber 410 or Ampeg 4-Vb into a SVT-410 HLF.Not really. Used market sucks here. No chain music stores either.
What do you run?
Whatever floats your notes.Fender 500w into a GB Uber 410 or Ampeg 4-Vb into a SVT-410 HLF.
On a good day, both cabs through the V4
Overkill?

If you already know this, tell me to shut up?
Hartke cans are actually pretty decent. Obviously used is good, all your big name cans are decent.Whatever floats your notes.
Did you read my updated question on post #1009?
Drive it and see. Computer may think it's not warmed up and run on the closed loop to operate the choke circuitNo highway driving here, most speed limits 20, with some 35-45, lots of stop and go, half the time I'm driving 1-2 miles, and never get up to temp.
See any issue running 180*?

Run different after 5-6 starts?
Closed loop adds more fuel to help heat up the motor, probably run better! Not that I've noticed, but I'll keep an eye on it this week and see if its behaving differently.
Anything in particular I should be looking for?
Closed loop adds more fuel to help heat up the motor, probably run better!
Might see higher idle speed
Vehicle have a tachometer?
Or a tacometer?
Maybe. If it acts bad after a week or if the check engine light comes on, let me know. No, no tach.
Actually, Oil pressure has been up a little higher then normal, until engine warms, which could indicate higher idle?

Ever bypass the OBDII to get error codes?
Paper clipI'm pretty sure I'm running closed loop for 80% of my driving.
No, how do bypass OBDII?
