Talkbass System Message

Several times in the last couple of days I have been going through the New Posts pages using the number page selector at the bottom right of the screen. I will click on one of the page numbers, and I get a 'Talkbass System Message' that reads the following:

'Sorry - no matches. NOTE, that the forum search ignores words that are under 3 characters long, or extremely popular words like "bass" and "guitar".

Alternatively, try the powerful TalkBass Google search option available on the Advanced Search page.'

We talked about this issue last year in this forum as well... If I remember right, it was an issue of the search result set 'timing out' - could this be the case with you (are you coming back to the search results after a long while?).

I'm afraid then that we're up against a fault in the forum software we run - I can do what I can to find a fix and submit a bug report, but I'm not sure it's even feasible for them to do... I suspect that if cached search results are held onto for longer periods, there are performance issues to deal with..
