Talkbass weight loss challenge?

I'm back to square one (well, slightly worse than . . ).

Back injury put me out of training (rugby & gym) for the past few weeks, almost ready to get back. Having a rather **** time at work over the past few months. my diet has been somewhat less than stellar, but I was still loosing a pound or so a week (really bad diet, but lots of training :P ).

6ft4 - 265lbs (120Kg)

Target - 210-220lbs (95-100Kg).

DD/MM/YY
01/11/10 - 265lbs (120Kg)

I'm in.

I've been at it for about a year now.

Height: 6ft

Starting Weight: 225 pounds(Sept 20, 2009)

Current Weight: 176 pounds (11-2-2010)

I preplan my meals for the day, typically the night before, or while I'm eating breakfast. I count calories as well as the macronutrients. On most days, I eat three main meals plus three to four snacks. Meals are typically 400-500 calories with the snacks in the 150-250 range. I also shoot to drink an ounce of water per pound of weight.

I strength train three days a week, and do cardio at least four days a week for an hour depending on my schedule.

The hardest part for me is eating how I should consistently. I overeat far too often, so I have had some wide fluctuations. I'll lose ten pounds, put five back on, etc etc etc.

I need to get back on diet again. I lost 30 lbs this past summer and gained like 10 back. All them after gig eating with my guy.
(sorry the pics are so huge!!)

you can tell alot of it in my face. I am gonna start back up again. I will give you my weight next time I check.

This is a good thing this challenge. At 6'1" I have averaged between 350 to 376lbs over between 7/2014 up to a month ago. Along with my weight gain came the usual problems, obstructive sleep apnea, high blood pressure (Sept. 2014 I was 232 over 130) my pressure was so high I developed a pair of hydrocele's and I'm not talking about in my ears or eyes. Then here comes type ll diabetes. My A1C during the last three years was at 7.0. My problem was carbs intake and not balancing with veggies. Okay this year before this challenge was announced I started changing my eating habits. Things I shunned like Brussels sprouts and squash and turnips became regulars on my plate. French fried and mashed potatoes became a baked sweet potato. Every slice of bread I eat is toasted first. I found smoothies with chard, kale and spinach leaves filling and very healthy. Monday I had a after fasting bloodwork. My A1C is 6.8, my weight is down to 347lbs but my herniated disks keep me somewhat sedentary. I am beating diabetes and even though the weight is coming off slowly, it is coming off surely. I hope everyone sticks to their goals.
