I think OP is saying that if you have to talk someone into buying a bass, perhaps you shouldn’t sell it to them at all? I think? But isn’t that why we buy anything in the first place? Because we were talked into it? Even if we’re the ones talking ourselves into it? If I can talk you into buying something, doesn’t that make me a good salesman?
