Talking bass.net, but for piano?

I recently acquired a decent digital piano and I am enjoying approaching things as a beginner again. It is however making wish for a resource like talking bass.net -quality no fluff instructional vids , sensibly organized- for folks learning piano. Anyone have recommendations?

I guess it depends on what your goal is... just play songs, learn classical, learn jazz, blues piano? Piano is generally either a classical or jazz path. I would say learning classical would stand you in better stead for tackling jazz than the other way around.

I guess my ultimate goal is the new Orleans style of piano, old school jazz by way of blues. but between here and there is the need for short term technique focus. Which fingers go where is the current dilemma. Theory I am pretty well versed in, though the new voicing opportunities would be nice to learn about.

An aspect of Talkingbass.net I hope to find is how you can find a playlist for fundamentals but also jump to another playlist more style or riff focused. Most resources I found piano are one or the other.

I found Piano with Johnny which seems close to what I want.

You could also buy the Hanon book to get your fingers moving... kind of similar to the spider exercises some do on bass

I really like Simon at PianoPig. His channel is somewhat like TalkingBass, tho not nearly as much content. He's quite thorough in his lessons, much like Mark. Here's the link for his Playlist for beginners

Explore his YT channel, there's a lot more good information for beginners on there. I especially like his "Chord of the Month" series.

And, of course, he does offer paid programs thru his web site, including beginners and intermediate courses.
