Double Bass Tapco Mix.50 as blender/pre

I'm looking for a way to combine my pickup (realist) with a mic into my single input Acoustic Image. All the actual mic pres I've seen have two outs instead of a single combined signal, so I think I need to look at compact mixers. I've heard good things about tapco and the mix.50 looks appealing. What do you guys think?

Chris, had you considered the DTAR Solstice?

Not cheap (over $300), but "rich" w/ features.

The EQ is not tailored specifically for bass - probably more for acoustic guitar I'm guessing. Doesn't bother me though since I run it flat.

Another option might be a used Raven Labs blender. You'd have to look for a used one since I believe they are not in production anymore.
