Tapout shirts, the douche bag tag?

I'm just glad this crap is done with.

This got old pretty fast too:

My friend is an active, and I think professional now, fighter. I think jiu-jitsu is his main style.

he made these shirts because he was so tired of the douchebags in the sport. He's actually managed to get a few illiterate idiots to wear them for days.

Here he is with a friend showing off his latest win, I suppose.

Funny that this made a thread... girls won't even talk to guys if they wear tapout or affliction shirts. I don't understand what they really are, but apparently these types of guys are all the same for some reason.

I have no opinion on the matter, though. Wear what you wish.

Usually, guys who have low self esteem or are very insecure try to compensate for that by boosting their outward "tough guy" appearance and put on a facade of being confident, all while never really being confident in who they are as a person. Chicks can smell that from a mile away, and when you wear those shirts, that just advertises it. If you ask any girl they'll tell you that an insecure man is an ugly man, even when they may be good looking guys. The secure man who knows who he is will get the chick.

With those tee shirts, all you need is 5 gallons of self tanner, some white plastic aviators and enough cocaine to shrink your dink, and you can be on the next season of "Jersylicious"...don't forget your douchehawk.

I know a bunch of guys into MMA, a few into a local chapter / organization, and NONE of them will wear any of that crap, poseur stuff.

Yep.

The best ones who wear them are middle age guys with the love handles who walk around with their fists all curled up and trying to bulge out their chest. They usually have the pseudo mohawk going as well, or some phony trucker hat on backwards too.

I think I've seen this guy at one of our shows out in the sticks. :p

McHaven: The Poser shirts are outstanding. LMAO!

:atoz:

Sure doesn't sound like any black belt I've ever heard of.

yeah, it sounds like someone didn't pay attention to their wu de lessons. then again, if he got a "black belt" in kung fu, along with obviously lacking in his wu de education, i would question the legitimacy of the school he attended, since, while many westernized schools of all styles now use some variant of the familliar belt system, it is mainly an artifact of japanese schools over the past century or so.

regardless, dude sounds like a real winner.

Come on now, we all know thats crap. There are plenty of girls that like douchebags. A few years ago I did a chick who's husband wore Tapout shirts.

Did you ever think that the reason you did a married chick is because her husband is one of those guys who wears Tapout shirts? ;)

Excellent work sir! Actually, that goes for both of you.

These shirts are an affliction (sorry) in the north west of england too, with the exact same type of coked up douchebag, stained bright orange, throwing their weight around. Why? Just why?
