Tatoos on Women?

Yeah, I feel like it's the old guys vs. the young guys and there's a lot of old guys on TB.
I don't think its old guys, I think it a few people who recognize that most of you getting tattoos are doing it because its currently in vogue and fashionable. We are not all individuals, and that's ok.

Maybe that tat on grandmas butt was her safe-word and grandpa had altzheimer's and kept forgeting so she put it there permanently.
If I ever get a tattoo it'll be my whole self tatted on to me to scale 1:1.0000314 , making me just out of focus

I totally agree... I was just finding the grumpy factor kinda sad... especially since I see daily with my job how many gorgeous women have gorgeous tattoos... I'll be the first to say some are unflattering or poor additions on some women, or ill planned. its just the blanket dismissals and condescension that bugs me.
Totally depends on the woman and the ink. My wife has a few. I think they look good. She doesn't have a full sleeve or anything...yet. Her largest one is the kids foot prints from their birth certificate and names on her left side. I'm not into it for myself.

When people start calling other people sheep, thus declaring themselves not sheep, it becomes an us vs them situation.
Thats fine if people don't like tattoos and all, but its not reason to judge those who do.

I dont see people with tats calling untatted people sheep.
I agree. I would say, however, that men are ten times worse when it comes to lame tatoos. How many barbed wire tats have you seen, or some equally hideous variation of this:

You say that not everything has to be Us vs. Them, but then you make a statement ("Kids today!") which is an explicit invocation of an Us vs. Them conflict.''

I agree. I would say, however, that men are ten times worse when it comes to lame tatoos. How many barbed wire tats have you seen, or some equally hideous variation of this:

I agree. You seem to see many more lame tattoos on men than women. Of course, there are a couple things in which I prefer to look at women so...
