As an amp snob, I have to admit that I am really pleased and surprised by this amp. Although you don't get that tube sag, you do get tube warmth. I am thinking about swapping out the tube that is in it to one that doesn't break up, as I am not a fan of its distortion.

I ended up selling this. I have had 2 different iterations of Taurus Tube Amps, and both of them failed. The tone was great while it lasted... I am a fan of their solid state gear... but their tube stuff... has been problematic for me.

I actually use a Taurus vandall 1000 for more then 1,5 yeard now, gigging and practicing frquently. Really Durable and good sounding loud head.

I still use my Taurus Qube 450. It's an amp that I will never sell...
