Up for sale is a bass that's like all the other ones out there. Nothing special at all about it. If you're reading this ad, you have no idea what it is. I hate this bass, and I'm sure I want to sell it. Contact me only if you're interested in low balling me. Plays like lard, with meh out the donkey. TalkBass often likes to diss bassists like Fieldy.
The opposite would be gladly acknowledging that bassists like Fieldy are what inspired a lot of folks to pick up bass in the first place.
Same could be said for YouTube bassists like davie504 and such. Diss them all you want, but they're the reason the next generation is playing bass.
