TBC Blowout on their eBay store.

So i never received my wrench thanks to a ripped envelope by the USPS. so i was forced to take the neck off to adjust the neck. While in there i decided to put a shime in to pocket to help avoid the shifting some have had with these basses. I always use a mesh like (sanding for sheetrock stuff) textured peice. put it back together. neck does n't even think of moving when tugged on and angle back has made the action really swwet. very close to my high end 5 string basses. FWIW i would recommend this to anyone on the fence with the neck onthis bass. J pups are rather weak bt bass sounds pretty niv=ce.

"April 9th 2012 update:
Making the final TBC Basses over the next 30-40 days. Most basses are reserved for players on a first come basis. There are a few models that may still be available after all current orders have been filled...I hope to know what models those are by the first week in May 2012.
Again, thank you for your interest and most of all your patience during this hectic time.
Jack"

Last I heard anything from Jack was the beginning of March. I'd previously let him know what models I was interested in (Back in January) if he had any of them. After maybe one other contact from him in between, he emailed me March 6th saying he was working on all 3 of the models I mentioned and that he was going to give me a choice of which one I wanted. That's the last I heard. Followed up near the end of March with no response. Tried again today referencing the new info on his website to see if that can eicit a response from him.

Talked with Jack on the phone Monday. He said mine would probably ship out on Tuesday. As stated previously, communication is not his strong point. Phone calls might be the best way if you catch him in. I've spoken with him twice around 11:00 est.
I figured as much, but I've avoided calling so far. Have also had a Kala Hutch Hutchinson signature U-Bass on order a couple months waiting for them to be in stock again, so if the TBC bass doesn't pan out I won't be hugely disappointed because my wallet will hurt less. ha :D

I reminded Jack I was still interested in picking one from what he has left about 4 days ago (mind you, after giving him a month to reply to my last email). Heard back from him last night that he has a JT400JJ and a JT400SS both with black cherry pickguard, and that if I were interested in either one he would ship it on 5/2 (tomorrow). Replied back within 5 minutes and told him I'd like the SS and that I'd pay the minute an invoice hit my inbox. Haven't seen an invoice yet.

I was in that situation and I just paid it to his email address. It was shipped the next day.

Ok. got an email from jack and says my bass is ready. Been two days abd haven't received an invoice.
Guess I should just paypal his email?
Also how much should I add for shipping for a 4 string?

As has been said, communication is not his forté! The same thing happened with me though IIRC after pestering him he did send the invoice.

The PayPal email is the same one he uses and I believe the shipping charge is only $20 but someone
