Own about 7 guitars, but only one bass (Ibanez SR755 about to be upgraded to a BTB1405E) .. as I was guitar player LONG before moving to bass about 2.5 yrs ago. Count... 2 Carvins (Bolt, DC400), '81 LP solid-body Custom, Ibanez Strat copy circa '82 (Roadster, NOT a roadstar), '90 American Strat, plus '82 Yammy and 92 Seagull acoustics.

When I was a teen I loved The Gibson Les Paul studio or an ESP Eclipse, as I grow up and stray away from metal music I really like Fenders, particularly Strat's...

As a bass guitarist I have for many years been playing Fender Jazz Basses and they put fender on my radar as a guitar company (not that I play much 6 string anymore)

I have bought many guitars over the years, but I keep coming back to Strat-type instruments. My current favorites are an import (don't know what country because the former owner sanded that information off the headstock) sunburst Fender and an 80s Kramer F3000 super Strat. A former band mate sold me the Kramer, and I think he regrets that decision.

I've only a cheap Ibanez concert sized acoustic. If the neck were placed a tad better it would be awesome, as is the setup doesn't quite cut it for me but it's playable.

Like to have a nice Les Paul, or PRS or even perhaps one of the nicer Ibanez electrics. Never played a Telecaster probably because of the country twang (cow pie) sound I associate with them.

Would also like a Martin D28 and a set of expensive Taylor and Gibson acoustics of some sort.

hhhnggggg!!!

i also like the ESP/LTD tele. the guitarist in my band just bought a 407 Eclipse (lp clone) but i was begging him to buy a tele 7 though.

I've never played guitar, other than fiddling around with one at practice, but in a one guitar rock band I love the sound of a Gibson SG.

Country music, gotta love a Tele.

Strats? Meh. Although I thought Robert Cray had a great tone for blues.

I love my US G&L basses, and I love my US G&L guitars. That said, I've had a few G&L Tribute basses that have been great, and I've played several Tribute guitars, all of which were somewhat underwhelming.

I like Fender basses and guitars for the same reason - the ability to replace anything on them easily to trick them out.

I've had a few Ibanez basses, and had an AS73. Was a good guitar for the price.

Love my Gretsch guitar. Can't say I'm too driven to pick up one of their basses.
