I vote for kudos to Thunderitter. He's on other threads, but I know him from the Wishbass thread. He lent me an expensive and custom made step drill bit having never even met me - sent it half way across the US with no questions asked! I kept it about a month and sent it back of course, but he didn't know I would when he up and shipped it my way! He's more than helpful, he's become a friend and someone I hope to meet in person someday. Thanks TR!!!

There's a guy also, I don't remember the username, that bought a Peavey bass out of eviLbay and kept it to sell to another TBer that was out of cash but really wanted the bass... That was a total winner, made me trust we TB people even more.

man i forgot about that GeneralElectric thread! that was AMAZING. i'm a softie anyways, but that thing had me tearing up a little every time i thought about it or told somebody about it.

big ups to the Noise Comp guys. really, there are a ridiculous amount of stories about people just being.... good people on this site. that thing with the drill bit? c'mon. CRAZY nice.

..... but screw JimmyM. i hear he's a douche.

If you have a problem with the $40K car you bought, you think you could call the CEO of Ford/Toyota/GM/whatever? Ha! The guy that sold you the car probably won't even return your call. Just thinking about buying a $400 amp from Hartke and have some questions? Call Larry on his personal cellphone! Not "email our sales department", not "call customer support between 10am and 3pm Eastern Monday to Thurday", call the man himself.

Larry is amazing.

Wicked players, and the nicest people in the world. I'm pretty sure MM paid for my supporting membership one year, though he won't admit it.

lol. i find that complaining about people not liking me makes me that much more popular. silly. FWIW, i don't know a bunch of the people that were big upp'ed here so... not really a popularity thing homie.

i don't know the big V-Maiden Fan Guy, but he does have some delicious pedal choices.

....... and i'm man enough to admit that i'm jealous of any beard that goes in multiple directions.
