TBers who deserve props!

Good thread idea, but i dont think it belongs in effects....

I agree... I thought some about where to start this thread, but could not decide. So, since this particular props had to do with pedals, I started here.

However, as the posts subsequent to mine show, TB props transcends the FX community and there are many who deserve props on TB!

So, where do you think this thread should be?

I don't see any love for Taylor Livingston or Tayste, so I'll give them some.

Definite props to all mentioned above, and retroactive props to niftydog.

Hmmmm...

Maybe under "Bassists"? Since everyone here is probably a bassist in some capacity. Plus you want to give props to these people who are also probably bassists.

Also, that's one of the forums that gets viewed quite a lot, so many folks would see your thread.

Or, just PM the mods and ask them where they think it fits and let them move it. (they'll have the final say so anyhow)

Nice idea for a thread. In terms of the threads I tend to view I have to say that I've found the following people to be very helpful: KJung, Vic, Vroom Vroom, Tom Bowlus. If I have questions about gear those guys are always ready to help. There are (I'm happy to say) lots of people on TB whose general demeanor and intelligence I appreciate. I can't think of everyone off the top of my head but some names that come to mind are Matticus, Jared Lash (did I spell that right?), Bongo, Cheese, Deluge, Slowasdaylight, Relic (love the avatar), OneDrop, Roadkill (a great guy and a personal friend)...

I know I'll remember a bunch of others as soon as I've posted

I'm a little surprised MysticBoo's name hasn't popped. His demos have been responsible for probably about half of my effects purchases so far and he seems like a pretty decent guy too.

Also, Grygrx and Bongo do a fantastic job shining light on the subjects of Fuzzes and Compression respectively.

MysitcBoo wins my vote.
