It's not often I get excited about a tuner pedal, but this one is actually really hip. Think of it as a polyphonic tuner, it lets you tune all of your strings at the same time. And it's got everything you'd expect in a good tuner pedal (true bypass, mute when in use, calibration mode, etc.).

Sound crazy? Maybe even a little silly? Check out the demo video. It's actually really cool!!

I've been halfway looking for a pedal tuner to put on my pedal board, and this is definitely the one for me! At $99, it's a no-brainer.

And one minor purchasing point - my website will charge you shipping if this is the only thing you have in the cart at checkout ($100 is our threshold for free shipping). That said, I'm happy to offer free shipping on this pedal anywhere in the US. To take advantage of that, you can do one of two things:

1) Paypal $99 to [email protected] & tell me you want a polytune.
2) Call me with a card @ 877-449-GEAR

Yeah, I've been playing with the tuner quite a bit this morning. It's REALLY cool. Strum all the strings and you see the display that lets you tune them all at once. Strum a single string, and it automatically zooms in on that one note and gives you a nice, big display for the single note. No stomping or bending over to make it change display modes, it just does it all by itself.

The multi-string mode works pretty well for 5 and 6-string basses. It's fast and fairly accurate. The single string mode is obviously more accurate, though. The fact that the tuner switches in and out of those two modes all by itself makes it easy to get close (multi-string mode) and then do a quick double check (single string mode).

I'm sold, I own one of these now...

I should have already dropped in here...

...Greg got mine to me Tuesday, I had a rehearsal that night, and it's darn near perfect.

The tracking on individual notes is dead on and exceptionally fast, the fastest I've ever seen. The poly mode works great for my E-C strings, but doesn't grab the B string. In defense of the box, I am tuned to Eb, and this may be the issue. It gets the A#/Bb individually instantly, but when I "strum" all 6 strings it doesn't read that one string.

It still is miles better than my old TU-2, even if you compare it "head-to-head" in single note mode. Much quicker, easier to read, and more accurate.

Two thumbs up!

Eb should not be a problem as long as you set the tuner to Eb using the tuning button. If you're B string isn't showing up, it's a problem and you should return it.

It is set up to Eb, and for bass, and it reads the other 5 strings instantly and correctly, just not the Bb string.

It's not enough of an issue for me to return it. :) When I play the Bb individually it reads it instantly and correctly.
