Also... 2 TonePrint knobs now! And the TubeDrive has been turned into a TonePrint. Now you can have a Compressor and Chorus, or whatever you want. I think the tuner has been expanded to 6 string as well.

I agree. Also electric fretless basses for jazzy guys. TC's compression is so good I bet it kills for slap'n pop, not that I do it much.

At lease that's better than the $600 I had heard. I think it will be more because the 208 has the 250H head.
The 208 is exactly what I've been looking for! I can't to get my hands on one of these.

Maybe he is talking MSRP. Musician's Friend has the current model 250 (115) for $349, but MSRP is shown as $599.

I think the move from Tubedrive + one Toneprint to two programable Toneprints is a great decision - wish mine was like that
