TC RH450 Club

Some of th online dealers have the RH450 for $599 now. Could be the head is being phased out for the RH750?
I don't see why it would point to anything specific going on. They need to have stratification.
The whole RH line can stand together; Classic, RH450, Staccato and RH750.

Despite all the lies etc (that whole maelstrom of TC bad PR and wattage), I'm really happy with the RH450. Thanks to drpepper for pointing me to the 'ideal flat settings'.

I think I will. On more than one occasion, I've already had to go to a different preset, in the middle of a song, lol.
exactly , but it did arrive last night , I had very limited time to play with it but so far it strikes me as being excellent ! Also glad I went with the classic , super simple straight up function with very effective EQ . OD is pretty much the only effect I use these days "live" and I really dig this one , seems very natural and tube like to me , so far so good

Nice setup! You have a few configuration options.
I think there was another user looking for looking for input about 2x RS112. I don't know if there were any responses.

so today was jam day w/ full band and the amp just killed , fantastic thick and colorful w/sustain for days just wonderful rich and ballsy tones . I love it ! At the risk of starting a storm with a new thread I dare say this is the loudest micro I've heard and is a keeper for sure .
And now I've got the pictures. Sorry, the phone cam is not good... and the dirty lens didn't help much.
RH750 and 2 "superfifteen" custom boxes.
Woofers: Eminence Kappalite 3015 (non-LF)
Boxes: 87 effective liters, tuned at 45 Hz, same size. (69x36x45?). 18.3 and 21.5 Kg (difference is configurable crossover, horn and compression driver).
Horn: Beyma CD10ND paired with 40x90º horn. It can put 130dB @ 1m for sustained periods of time over 1200Hz. It could cope with a 3rd or even a 4th cab driving them all to the limits of the Kappalites! Definitely too much for the RH750 on its own.
Crossed over at 1200Hz (12dB/octave), I can pad the upper cab to use it on its own and I can use the lower cab without crossover, resulting in 3 possible configurations (upper / lower / both cabs).
Sounds really good at home, this configuration can be used with my custom electric violin without much tweaking in the eq.
I also tried it with guitar, the tube tone makes it a decent guitar amp also. I recommend you users to try!
This afternoon I'll use it for the first time with the new band. I want to check how loud it can be and how the lows sound respect to the rest at loud levels.
