TC RH450 Club

RH450 rocks and not only in straight up sound department but also with its compressor that in my A/B/C testing surpassed that from Empress or MXR. Brilliant design allows to use this head as DI box (no speaker required) with afformentioned compressor on for great studio sounds.

Hey Guys,
So the amp arrived for the weekend. I can't get over how LOUD this thing is! One little turn of the volume know and yeehah the whole house was shaking! I'm still getting used to the EQ. I'm finding that cutting both the low mid and high mid seems to get me closer to a tone I like. Not surprisingly it is sounding very "GK like" through my GK Neo. I may have to check out one of the TC RS cabs at some point since the price has come down on them. I'm really enjoying the tube tone feature and the compressor. I only wish they had programmed it so you could save 6 settings! ;)
So far so good.

Loving my RS450. Jammed loud with it.. also new RS210 and RS212 cabs. Just love the tone. We've been practicing all in ears with a Mackie DL1608 so I've been just using the direct out into the mixer.. but still really loving the tone. I absolutely love the tuner running all the time. very handy. Next gig is in December... so get to break out the cabs that night.

I'm definitely looking at a RS210. Maybe for X-Mas? But I even enjoyed the amp through headphones!

Hey.. gigged last night with my RH450, RS212 and RS210. Small bar, PA only had a pair of power 15 tops so we didnt run the bass through it at all. I couldnt turn it up past 2.5 before it was just too loud for the bar... small ish bar, but still. I usually have a compressor and pedal graphic EQ. I love the built in compressor and only a tiny tweak to get rid of some boom... and I loved it. No pedals.. bass into Shure wireless. Shure wireless pedal/tuner and right into rig. I loved it. having the tower really made it easier to hear. I could have gotten by with one cab.. Loved the tone. It was just fantastic. I have a hard time thinking of any nearby bars that this thing wont cover... Absolutely loved it. And we practice silently. I just bring the head and use the DI into our Mackie mixer and have a georgous set of Marshall over the ear cans that thunder. I just love this amp. I was a little worried about the power... but if I get a backup head I'm pretty sure I'll just get an identical RH450. I love this thing.

Had a gig last night at a pretty large bar with full PA support, 4 hanging mains and 4 subs, I still can't get it past 4 without that look from the guitar player! I use 2 RS212 cabs and it kills.

awesome! I think I like the 12s a bit better, but the RS210 is quite a bit lighter... for the time being I like having both... to be honest, if I picked up a 3rd cab, it would probably be the 112 and I'd be able to vary my carry based on how much air I needed to move.. and having the 3 stacked vertically would be pretty cool. it would be as tall as me..
