The bag is OK in general, but if you look at the handles, they are stitched to the cover material, not through the bag. So, many have reported that the relatively heavy weight of the amp, cables and foot controller, combined with the poor design of the hande stitching (i.e., not going through the meat of the bag) resulted in the handles tearing away from the bag). If you primarily use the shoulder strap, you would never notice it.

Since this issue came up a while ago, I believe Donovan or someone associated with TC said they were fixing that design issue. Not sure if that happened or not.

I only ever carried the amp and cab cables in it, and it's not like I go on a hike with it either... The big tear you see on my earlier post happened literally on the second time I used it. The weight of the amp was being held by that seam that broke, rather than the handles... the tear never got bigger after that.

My first RH450 head blew onstage during soundcheck within the first 2 months. TCE were *fantastic* at dealing with that and got another one in my hands in under 3 days, sent from Denmark. So I have no complaints about their customer service. They were really good. But that was a bummer. Yeah, these things happen. Ok, I was unlucky. BUt then I also bought a footswitch, and it never worked, so I sent it back to teh store I bought if from... this time for a refund and I haven't bothered with the footswitch anymore. My RH450 is sounding great and working just fine. But if the amp didn't sound as good as it does, I'd have walked out on this company already. I've had more "bad luck" with TCE than with Behringer! (with Behringer: never a problem, and I've owned all sorts of things from guitar and bass amps, to rackmount FX, pedals, mixers..)

Yes, looking closer at the bag I can see how this could happen. Good to know! Not the greatest design for handle placement.

hey guys. just picked up a rh450 and got a quick question about cabs....how would you hook up two non-TC 8ohm cabs to the rh450 seeing as the amp has only one output? would you just hook up one cab to the other (series)? are all cabs capable of this? I see the TC cabs have two speakons so you can link them but what about cabs with only one? could you use a 1/4 on the cab?

Yes, in series or 'daisy chained' together.
