TC RH450 Club

I'd like to get me officially signed up. I have jumped in with both feet after reading probably more than a couple hundred associated posts and got myself a full used (but like new) RH450 and 2xRS210 cabs coming in sometime next week. I am pretty excited about it after all the great comments folks have made but am also 100% willing to turn it loose if it's not to my liking. I will say though that I have always thought of the TC product as exceptional stuff and always wanted a chorus but couldn't justify the cost and here I am in deep on this. I am even considering going ALL the way in and adding the RS212 (like the pretty picture up top) from the get go as well but will try to remain somewhat sensible...

It's on the bottom left, for some reason that I am still trying to get an answer to. (The third cab came later than the first two, as they didn't have three RS212 cabs in stock at the same time.) So the logo is behind the Ray in that shot. Bugs the crap out of me looking at the three of them stacked and the one has the oddball logo position.

If you look at TC's website, you'll even see the logo in the two different positions depending on which photo of the RS212 you see on any given page.

Interesting... I was at the site and it looks like the default position is lower left. Is it possible that it's as simple as rotating the two upper cab nameplates 180* (which would then have the upper two 'upside down' as they now sit) then rotate the upper two cabs 180* and VOILA! all cabs would then be oriented correctly to the lower left? Of course this only works if the screws are symmetrically placed where they can be attached in either direction. Until mine get here I can't check.

I was thinking almost the same thing, except that you should be able to take off the grill, rotate the logo, then install the grill reversed. Voila, three perfectly identical matching cabs!

I was told when I ordered the RS210s/212 I have in the new smooth black finish that the logo had changed place recently. I never realised this until I just looked at my cabs and compared it to the cabs at the beginning of the thread.

When the new cabs are vertical, the TC logo is positioned in the top left, whereas the older cabs have them in the bottom right. Weird!

+1 Not very good quality. My understanding is that they are redesigning this bag to be more sturdy.

I remember paying about 25 quid for mine... I just checked at Thomann (where I got mine last year), and it's now £16, but it also looks different. Is yours like this one?

This is what happened to mine. It seems when you hold it by the handles (both at once, not just one!) it pulls the fabric, and by my second gig with it, it tore like it is now:

In addition, despite making sure I always use *both* handles, not just one, one of them is starting to go as well:

Trust me, I'm pretty careful with my stuff, especially a bag (not a case) holding my favourite amplifier. But I was pretty disappointed when I saw it. It reminded me of those backpacks you can buy for 5 pounds at the street market...

The bag at Thomann does look a bit different, not just the fabrid, but the actual bag design too. I'd be tempted to get another if they're well made. I don't expect it to protect the amp if I drop it, but I expect a bag that will not start fraying and disintegrate just by looking at it.

Hmm.. hard to tell. Mine seems similar, but feels sturdy, not cheap. I've done loads of gigs and rehearsals and it looks like new..?

Mind you, I only carry the amp and a few cables in it, and nothing else. I also tend to use the shoulder strap so I can carry other stuff at the same time.
