Here is a Soundfile where I play different Basses (Fodera, Jazz, Precision) with different settings:

It´s a Puma 500 Combo with 2x10 Speakers miked with a Neumann TLM 103.
The Taste Knob is in center position. So is the EQ.

When you see the US price on the Puma, your GAS might come back into balance
Edit: It's actually very price competitive with full size 500-600 watt amps (like the Eden WT550, AG500, etc.), but over double the LMII/Shuttle 6.0/GKMB500.

Just got confirmation that the amp and bag are on their way to the US distributor from Germany. I should have the amp in about a week or so.
Time for a mini GTG!!!
+1 With LDS dying that long, slow death, we all haven't really gotten together for quite some time.
I'd love to get you, Mike, and a few others together and do a nice side by side of the GK MB500 (assuming somebody has one in town), the F1, the LMII, the Puma, and the Shuttle 6.0.
Let's make that happen in a few weeks if everyone is up for it.

LDS had died and gone to bass retailer heaven. However, Don will be putting all his energy into the custom cab business, so that will be cool. His 'shop' is pretty close to where I live, so I'm looking forward to hanging with him a bit. The cab business was always separate from the retail store.

That's what I figured based on it's European pricing
. Makes the LMII pricing all the more amazing. Maybe I'll talk to Gary and see what he can do...

+1 The weak dollar has to be at least part of it. I agree, it makes the LMII, the Shuttle 6.0 and the new GK MB500 seem like VERY good deals.
The new Puma cabs look very cool. The 4ohm, 600 watt handling, under 40 pound 'vertical' 210 looks very cool.
