@puma 900 users...do you have overheating or grounding issues? Played the bonafide at church and had a hum hard to get rid of. I believe it's the way the church is wired. Thanks for info!

TecAmp amplification club.....is there such a thing yet

Never had any grounding problems and no overheating, even with it cranked at an outdoor summer gig. The only issue I've ever had is that the headphone out is noisy.
The heat issues were primarily with the old Puma1000 and the Bonafide, especially when bridged, and ESPECIALLY when they were in the rack bags. The Puma500/900 are driven by the more robust, more roadworthy ICE modules.
The DI (if I remember correctly) is a bit unique in that it doesn't have a ground lift. I believe it is 'ungrounded' from the chassis (not sure if I have that technically correct). I never had a problem with my older Pum500, but it always made me a bit nervous. Not sure if that design is more sensitive to bad ground loops or not.
I wouldn't bother with that cab. The 212 models are SO small and so lightweight that giving up the additonal volume and low end for a 210 makes little sense to me. With a 4ohm s212 or m212 and the Puma500, or two 8ohm s212's or M212's and the Puma900, you have pretty much anything you could need.
However, it sounds like they are again changing cab designs. I would be relatively uninterested in a heavier ceramic loaded cab with a grill cloth myself. IMO there.
The M212 is a pretty killer cab, and still relatively small and light. If you are a single cab guy, then the 4ohm M212 with the Puma500 would be the thing IMO. If you want a 210 sized box, I'd get a 4ohm s212 in 4ohms with the Puma500.

I tried my Puma500 with my new Brubaker Brute Single Cut last night. Sounded really good. A real nice bar/grill bass and killer amp combo. To diglo it probably was the church. I once did a show at an old church in Philly and as soon as I powered up my head shut dowm immediately. I was like uh oh. I plugged it into another socket and it worked fine. No telling how that church is wired and who wired it LOL!!!
A TBer posted either earlier in this thread or another TecAmp thread that TecAmp was introducing ceramic driver cabs with grill cloth. Nothing on the website, but that is a very poorly maintained site.
I know that TecAmp is not very good in announcing cabinet spec changes, so who knows!

Sorry guys I know this is off topic but hey KJung I majored in Psych and English Lit as an undergrad. Is your family related at all to Carl Jung?
I've had XS112, S212, and M212. I strongly preferred the M212 over the S212. The S212 had a bit too much low-mid for my taste though I didn't have it that long. The M212 will cover pretty much any gig. It isn't a small cab but it is only 44 lbs so it is light. The horn control does allow you to voice the cabinet differently which is cool.
The ones I had used metal grills, and the S212 was the rear ported version (not the older front-ported). I won't own a fabric grill cabinet - just too easy for something bad to happen. I do too many load in/load outs and don't use road cases but rather padded covers. But depends personal bias and needs.

Great uncle Carl Gustav Jung. No, my family is from the same region of Northern Germany (back in the day), but Jung in Northern Germany is as common as 'Smith' in Indiana+1 IMO the M212 is the sweet spot for size, weight, max volume and low end in the line. A 4ohm version with the Puma500 is very cool.

M212 sounds great for slap. The horn control allows you to change the character of the highs along with the crossover point, so there are a couple different "slap" sounds that the cabinet can give you (dependent on your technique and gear).

LOL!!! Well my slap technique is pristine
I've been slapping since about 1975 or so. I have a Puma500 head. Now I need 'THAT' cab. For me it's the Lil G vs the M212. The Lil G is cheaper though.
You could have bought my M212 for a reasonable price. New the Tecamp cabs are pricey.

I'm a fan of the TecAmp cabs, but do find them a bit overpriced (at least in the US). I would think that Lil G would work for you pretty well, given the design goals and the glowing reviews from the funker/slappers who are currently using them.
The EQ and voicing of the newer Puma's allows them to work pretty well with almost any cab (i.e., the low mid control can add punch to an overly wide voiced cab, and the upper mid control can remove gank from the top end of an overly bright cab), so you have lots of options.
