Tech 21 bass fly rig

Just hit the compressor and then the boost, that should do something I would guess. Boost at pre and compression at minimum and then hit the level control so its not 100 percent at unity if possible and then the sansamp should drive when you hit the boost I would hasard that guess anyhow.
I am still waiting to get one as theres a few things in the works rite now that at present I cant plop the money down but soon, soon, soon I shall.

It isn't meant at all to achieve this so you will need an entirely device in which to feed the BFR and the MP3.
That of get another multi that has a line in for this specific purpose.

I sold the BFR by the way. My main disappointment was the impossibility to get a high enough internal gain to properly trigger the filter and the drive without activating the comp. Now contemplating a Q strip and a Zoom B3n.

I don't miss it at all. In my head, the Flyrig works like an amp and I treat it like one. If it's pushed into overdrive, the whole sound is overdriven, like in a real amp. I haven't noticed any low end loss (but on the other hand, I'm no low end junkie to start with).

So...I picked up a BFR used. I liked the idea of having a compressor, basic eq, and tuner all on one small pedal. The octafilter part I looked at as just an extra bonus.

However, I'm finding the sansamp sounds like it has a low-pass filter engaged that is chopping off a lot of the upper frequencies. Is that the difference between the VT-based sansamp in the BFR and something like a BDDI? There's parts of the BFR sansamp sound I like but I really miss the sparkle/sheen from the upper frequencies.

I bit the bullet and got one a couple of weeks ago Sweetwater had an open box one a few $$ off and it's mine now. Was just tired of dragging a big pedalboard around and not even using half of it anymore.

Couple of thoughts that go along with what's been said already:

The compressor is ok for what's basically a one knob setup. It's either more or less no way to change attack, release or ratio. I mostly use one to catch peaks when I'm popping so it's serviceable. The boost is nice if I need it. Nice to see it's the VT bass and not the regular Sansamp deal. Might use it for a little dirt or added tone but it works well. Chorus is nice nothing crazy but it sounds like a chorus lol

I can get a serviceable envelope filter sound. The range control is really touchy though. I get an ok synth sound which I use on a few things but the octave isn't really usable. Love that it has a tuner and DI on board and they work fine.

Played it on a couple of gigs and rehearsals and so far so good. Have to be a bit precise stepping on the buttons due to the size but I'm happy so far!

What pedal board are using with the BFR and Line 6?
