Yep, here it is!The only time there is any digital in the analog signal path is when the Octafilter section is engaged. How much is digital is dependent on the Mix ratio. The Comp, Boost and SansAmp section is all analog and the Chorus is digital but runs through a parallel mixer so there is no break in the analog signal path.
Nice piece of gear, but yesterday on a gig i got in a trouble situation twice, my bass sound just accidently dissapear (but the device LED keep working), just in a middle of a song. Not sure what it was. Cables and power supply are ok. Bought new couple weeks ago.
The sansamp part is analog your rite, but the filter section and the chorus pedal part are powered off won DSP chip. I don't remember witch chip though.Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure there is no DSP to be seen in the BFR. SansAmps are typically fully analogic.
It depends on the drive setting. If you have a saturated signal, where the signal is breaking up a little bit when you dig in, it's possible to add dirt without a volume boost. If your normal setting is clean the boost will increase your volume no matter what setting it's in.
I would love one of these...I just wish they had put in an "aux in" jack for practicing. It would have been pure magic!
