Agreed, assuming @kringle77 has a board or some other source of 48v.Why not try it? Remove any batteries that are in the downstream pedals, and hook ‘em up.

Thank youYes, don't spill a beer on it.You are best off keeping the tone controls on the bass set neutral if it has active tone. If you have a really high output bass, test the pedal when bypassed and listen to the bypassed signal. If it sounds normal with the bass volume full up you are good to go. If you perceive some crackling or unwanted sound, reduce the volume of the bass. In most instances there should be no issues.

?as i understand it mixing board phantom power maxes out at like 10mA, not very much@tech21nyc I have 3 Sansamp, each of which can be phantom powered. Can I power the last one in line with the phantom power from the xlr and then power the other 2 by daisy chaining the power supply jacks together? Thanks
Thanks for the solid reply.Microphones do not have high current draw and phantom power was designed for that application. Our SansAmp DI's like the Bass and Para Driver etc have low current draw and can easily be powered by phantom power. Any pedal that has DSP or requires more current is incompatible with phantom power.
Having said that don't just assume that any board that has phantom is foolproof. I powered one of our DI's with the phantom power on one of my live mixing boards and found the phantom power was noisy. When I switched to one of my studio preamps or the phantom power on my recording interface there was no noise at all. It's worth testing. It's possible there was something internally wrong with the phantom power of my mixer or some other explanation that I'm not aware of.
