I'm new to the Sansamp VT Bass pedal and loving the thing!

I have a Rickenbacker 4003 and Yamaha BBG5S (active) and am using the VT Bass DI. For the Ricky, I wanted to tame the Ricky sound out of the regular output but have a setting which works well with both basses for live gigs. With drive at 12:00, I would actually get bass guitar feedback(!) on the Ricky. Settling on main volume at about 11:00, bass 12:00, mid 11:00, treble 12:00, character (SVT setting) 9:00 and Drive at 11:00. Bite and speaker sim on.

Check out this old thread I made with clips and settings of each clip. Some of the tracks have a RAT for overdrive but some are straight VT Bass.

Character and gain past 12 oclock. You won't lose low end, but keep in mind that flat for the bass control is 1 o'clock.
