Okay, so i'll put it in the "over-hyped" pedals category like D*A*M? A 300% profit margin on a pedal is uncalled for in my opinion. I will agree they look nice but no soundclips or ever hearing of the pedal don't justify a 400$ pedal imo. Lower prices might get his name around..

Don't get me wrong, I wish the price were lower. :bawl:

Fwiw: I know he has clips coming.
and ymmv, in my case clips rarely sell me OR discourage me. ;)

I'm sure this would get me banned at TGP, but I think of D*A*M as this long, built-up joke for which I don't get the punchline. Then I have the punchline explained to me, and I still don't get it.

So you're paying a grand or more for a Tonebender, and this is cool, why exactly?

I'm sort of in the same boat. Besides, if I ever got my hands on any of these $$$ pedals, I certainly wouldn't bring them out to play shows, and seeing as how my recorded output hovers mere millimeters above nil...

That said, there's nothing like gear whore adoration and internet fame.:p

These are made in Portland, OR.
I don't live in Oregon. :confused:

I am not a builder either.
I have modded and rehoused a few different Muff and delay pedals but never a ground up build.

I don't pretend to understand paying 1000.00+ for a mojo tonebender clone. But paying =< $400 for some solid looking builds that aren't your run of the milll, made in china bulsh.. that I can see.
