yup.
It sounds good too. Its lacking in gain compared to the B:ASSMASTER. But Most pedals are.

I'm making a demo of the Loadstone as we speak, and I can attest that Faceinbass is NOT affiliated with Monolith in any way whatsoever. He's my (literal) brother, and I'm the one who got him gassing for these. I however, AM loosely associated in that Wade is a friend/acquaintance of mine, and he asked me to do a demo for him.
For now, I can tell you this...
it's an awesome sounding pedal.
Very brutal sounding. Sits somewhere between my green muff and my b:assmaster. Not as scooped as the former, and not as bit-driven as the latter, but easily as
as both.
The reason it costs so much is simply that he makes them by hand, top to bottom, using the best parts available to him. And when I say he makes them by hand, I mean it. He bends the metal, cuts, sands, stains the wood... etc.
I'll post the demo when I've finished it, but fwiw, you don't need to hear it to know this is a f-n GREAT pedal. It was obvious to me before I even heard one.

Well You can spend $300- $400 on one boutique fuzz, distortion etc that is hand built and sounds exactly how you want to sound, or $300-$400 flipping BOSS, DOD, Digitech, EH etc pedals looking for that sound.
If I find something I really want then Id save until I could afford it.
I buy pedals I want to use and keep.
BTW; D*A*M pedals usually go for more used than new.
