Tele Anyone?

I have a Squier Classic Vibe bass which is my favorite bass and a Sting Signature bass which are both single coil. Those are pretty much the only 2 I play.

I had a '51 CIJ reissue for a while. Fantastic sound, but the ergonomics of the thing defeated me. This bass is so beautiful I'd try again...the P neck shown is 1.625? And the original Tele bases were 1.75?

I hear this but don't really understand what people mean. Can you elaborate? Is it the neck? The body?

You gotta understand, I loved the damn '51. It had the look, it had the vibe, it had a great sound. But my problem with it was mostly the slab body. It was contouring me, and I felt it should be the other way around. :D But also the 1.75 neck. It felt good, but it just seemed like too much work for my wimpy little fingers. I'm good with the 1.62, but I'm much more agile with the 1.5 Jazz neck. And I'm not so young and vigorous as I usedta was. I'm often playing two 90 minute sets a night, and anything that helps on the stamina front I'm all for.
