I love the sound of a fresh set of the Hi-Beams or Sunbeams. The problem is that they sound dead after 3 weeks of 1-2 hours of daily playing (probably because of my body chemistry). So, I'm interested in coated strings, especially the Dragon Skin+ and Nanoweb because these strings come in a light guage (40-100 or lighter). How do these sound and feel, compared with the Hi-Beams and Sunbeams?

The black beauties are not as bright out of the pack and I find them a bit sticky feeling. They will stay like that a bit longer than uncoated rounds, but start out a bit dull.
