Difference here is that the Pratt 24 string bass is playable. It's essentially an 8 string with 2 octave courses per string.

I also really like Chris Cardone's attitude. In the video he asserts that, when it comes to creativity, there is no such thing as "Too much". Can I get an Amen?

...I think there's a flatwound or two thrown in there? the 2nd thickest string and maybe a couple of other lower registered strings as well. I don't think I'll see anything else as boss as this for the rest of the day.

That lowest string looks like they polished a bridge cable and sort of threw it at the neck, hoping it would catch a tuner and a bridge saddle.
