Terra Nova

So they travel back in time to "have a second chance to do things right" yet they bring gas powered automobiles, guns and other weaponry, and kill the dinosaurs....how is this "doing it right" when it's more like "doing it exactly the same, only much faster"? Only ironically, they are using petrol fuel yet killing the source at the same time.

And that dude from Avatar...typecast much? He's playing the exact same character.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I thought the show looked incredibly stupid when I first saw the commercials for it and am predicting it won't make it beyond the pilot.

Unique? How many jail break out and fugitive movies have there been. Besides, the acting was TERRIBLE..lol

Haven't watched it so I couldn't tell you about the acting. I was also referring to the tattoos or whatever the plot driver was. In regards to the "keeping it on the air" bit, I forgot this is Fox so it may survive a season or two regardless of how bad it is.

IIRC, the tatoos were a map of the prison. Now I never actually saw the show, but it seems to me that at some point someone at this prison would have noticed this enormous and elaborate tatoo for what it was, or at least called it to the attention of someone. But what happens then? No show lol
