Double Bass Test DB Prefix Designation

Currently on the hunt for a p bass to add to the collection, with toss up between the Player II and the 60s Vintera II.
Vintera has far more pros for me - prefer the sound of the pickup, love the vintage radius and frets and the gloss neck. However, it's an old style crosshead truss rod adjustment, which worries me as the varied temperatures of my practice spaces result in fairly regular truss rod adjustments to be needed on my MIM jazz, and I don't want that process to be a real faff.
I would love to know, from those who have a Vintera - can the truss rod be adjusted (using a crank tool like the Stew Mac one) through the small pickguard notch WITHOUT loosening the neck? Opinons seem to be mixed online, but if slight adjustments can be made without capoing, loosening bolts and tilting neck back then that would be fab.

Thanks to @Don Hergert for the clarification (post #12). I confess that being in BG when I meant to be in DB or vice versa, whether posting or reading, is a problem I have never had. However, I still am miffed about having to do an extra mouse click in either forum to get to the sub-forum I wanted, over the number needed in the old TB.
Now we just need a separate forum for "other" basses with strings, the outliers: bass banjos, bassoguitars, mandobasses, washtub basses, Mongolian khuurs, etc. We could give it a magenta-colored banner.

Understood, and no blame attaches to you for it. Me, being from the wrong side of the tracks, labor under no such scruples and am limited by no such discretion. It can be quite liberating. It also gets the bulk of my threads completely ignored.Very welcomed!

Where's the joy in addressing issues and solving them? Way more fun to complain....
Other than the speed (lack thereof), I have no problem getting around the new site, as compared to the old one.
I think the main cause is people reply to thread titles and don't read the posts. Anything to prevent this is welcome, it will never eliminate it as long as people don't read the posts, though...which will be as long as there is an internet.
I have to admit that there are plenty of times when getting rid of the Internet seems like a good idea.....
Maybe we need 2 Factor Authentication in order to enter the DB side?

c) a Pedal named the "Death Metal Dungeon Master Arco Killbox"

Maybe a right hand thumbprint scan to verify that you have that ugly callous from pulling against the fingerboard?
Not great for arco players. But the LH pinky callus is a dead giveaway, arco or pizz.

- Use a more subtle color, like a medium-to-dark gray. Dark blue is already in use as a button color, so using it again for these prefixes (which share the same basic shape as a button) may create confusion.
