If anyone is interested, Guitar Center in Wilmington Delaware is blowing out there Acoustic stock. They had a B450 for $350 and the cabinets were half off. I picked up a B200 with extended coverage for $225.
Since GC isn't doing that globally - I bet that GC is closing that particular store.

Would not hurt to try a price match, The sales guy seemed confused as to why. That location just opened under a year ago I would be shocked if the store was closing... Bottom line if your looking for a deal on acoustic call your local GT. I would be interested if it is just that location.
I just called my old store in SoCal and they know nothing of this so far. It might be a store closing, but there are no price cuts going on about which they know.

I just called a GC in Florida (after hours there) where a good friend transferred, and YES - there is some clearance going on, but it is for new models as far as he knows.
He is pretty high in management there - so it should be good info. I'll be watching this closely though.

There's something shaking here. Don't know for sure until I can get a little more inside info. It may be a circling the wagons for new models or thinning the herd.
The line is still on GC's websites and Acoustic still has all the stuff still up on theirs - but obviously there's a change in the wind somewhere.

I too just picked up a B200 for $199 at one of our local GCs, & they have no intention of closing anytime in the near future.

I've been promised an answer soon. Let's see what's going on here.
The deep discounts were kinda shocking to me - and all I could think was that that particular GC was taking a dive to empty the shelves ASAP.
It may be a 'cross-the-board model change, or something like that - I dunnow yet.
FWIW: I also see that Fender is starting to really drop some prices too. Signs of the times?

the Acoustic 2x10 right next to it was also steeply discounted to $349 - about the same percentage as the B200 was
I went to G.C today. looks like they are trying to push the floor models. They didn't have any stock in boxes, just the floor demos. They are regular price everywhere else like musicians friend etc.
