That's good and not so good; and IMO an odd design choice - from what's been sent around it will deliver its full 600W at 2 ohms (PLEASE CONFIRM for all us proactive folks), and I had hoped to connect it to two powerful 4-ohm cabs.

But in order to offer a complete array to cover all cabs, it would need to have 2 Speakons and 2 1/4s - perhaps space considerations came into play. At the very least, will it have one speakon and one 1/4?

Or perhaps a better way to put it is: What is the B600H's speaker connection complement?

Have been gently admonished by the good folks here to just answer questions, rather than pontificate. So, like Alex Trebek (sp?) it is best to phrase your comments, queries in the form of a questions, which you have done. Will answer to the best of my ability.

Specifically, the B600H has two 1/4" jacks and one Speakon, as does the B810 cab. This has to do with the delivery of power to cabinets. Since the B600H will deliver approx 450 watts to a single 4 Ohm cab, and a max of about 300 watts each to two 4 Ohm cabinets, this keeps all of the certification agencies happy.:smug:

Hey guys, i have a question about the B200H and some fender cabs. I plan to get the acoustic amp this week and put it with a Fender 210 PRO ad 115 Pro cab, both of which are rated at 350 watts @ 8 ohms. Will I run the risk of ruining these speakers should I have the amp cranked to high? I read the sticky on clipping and it has made me rather curious on this topic and I wanted to make sure before I bought a bunch of stuff. Also, would I bridge the cabs to get the full power of the amp?

Your speakers will get the amps full power: your two 8-ohm cabs will = a total load of 4 ohms, and the B200H puts out its peak 200 watts at 4 ohms. That is ideal. Run a speaker wire from each of the amps' speaker outputs to each speaker.
Speaker damage is doubtful as the speakers' power handling as you describe it is higher than the amp's output.
As far as avoiding clipping goes, that's up to you and how high you push the gain knob on the amp -- it has a clip indicator, just watch for it flashing red, and set it below where the light begins to flash (naturally, you can always set it lower still if you like a cleaner sound). Your volume knob will control your overall volume; if the gain section clip indicator light is off, you will have no problem.
Sounds like you are going to have a nice setup; please post a picture when you have it all piled up high and pretty.

Thanks for the quick reply and advice! I will definitely post pictures when I get it all set up! And as far as clipping goes...the more I thought about it after I posted, I realized that I won't be cranking it to 11 but will be running it through a PA. So, I shouldn't have an issue with that. Hey chums, I just had a thought.

Since the up and coming B600H can handle 450w at 2 ohms do you think you could use it with three of the current acoustic cabs (ex: 2 115's and a 410) since they are 8 ohm cabs. That should give 2 ohms, right?! :eyebrow:

Oh, it was a great weekend. This stack just sounds fantastic with the Jazz. The Casady can be a little boomy with the Acoustic, but some EQ'ing took care of that. The Casady can also feedback a little and the notch filter, set correctly, eliminated that feedback completely.

All in all, I was very happy with the setup and everyone in the room thought things sounded great.
