The Acoustic Club

Ive been contacted by the bassist of a Led Zep band. He is on tour and blew up his 220 last night. His band is called Physical Graffiti. They play tonight for sold out 1300 people and basically needs one of my Acoustics. What to do lol
All kidding aside, if the Acoustic Head is that important to them and I'm sure it is. Why don't they have a backup head?

jj, you've got a 402 cabinet, right? The 301 is one foot taller, three inches deeper, and 2 inches narrower.

The 402 and 408 live at my band's storage space with our van. I've got a one-off gig with another group coming up and using a rig that lives at my house would make logistics much more convenient.

Plus, I'm excited to be rocking my recently restored Rickenbacker 4001 instead of the P-bass for this gig. It kinda makes me wanna go full wildcard and rock the 371 for a change.

First of all, it's for a few hundred people (400-500 maybe), not 1300 (was the big room).

He had an Ashdown 500 mag as a backup. They do LZ I&II, and the sound had to match.

So, I sold him one of my 220s for cheap. The guy and his band were very thankful, I felt like the Acoustic angel descending from heaven with a holy ACC amp

I hope you milked that situation with a proper and much-drawn-out amp bequeathing ceremony (charged the current market rate)?

I asked 225, that's about what I paid for it. I think I paid 375 for the 220+406. The 406 is worth more to me than 150. The 220 was in perfect shape on the inside but a little rough on the outside. I didnt play it anymore.

It was a very nice guy, im not the kind of guy to exploit these situations.

And karma is good to me. I will soon have my 320 ;-)

I wish I could give quadruple likes.

"Instant Karma's gonna get you" (but you get the good kind!)

Hopefully by the end of the week it arrives safely in Belgium. It looks in great cosmetic conditions, even comes in a flightcase! :)

Nice, @StingRay85 !

Question... the 301 cab with the poweramp built in, the one the 360 is generally mated with, well there's one available in my area. Now I'm not into collecting, but I do have a 370 that needs a mate. I wonder if I could use the Booster Out from the 370 to that power amp, and the speaker out to another cab? Makes sense right?
